Ghost Gallery

HomeRun/Deem - July 12, 2012

The Situation: It might be easy to go out and do some shopping at the mall or outlet stores, but then it’s easy for someone else to go out and buy all the same stuff. For unique fashion, art and goods you can’t find anywhere else, you’ll need to find the Ghost Gallery.

The Lowdown: Tucked away in a charming Capitol Hill courtyard, Ghost Gallery can be a bit hard to find at first. But, if you’re on the lookout for original artwork, vintage goods, and handmade jewelry, let independent curator Laurie Kearney be your guiding will-o'-the-wisp in this mysterious boutique.

In order to find the best and most unique pieces, Laurie regularly visits local art openings, and scopes out the best culture blogs and Etsy shops. Artists can also submit their work to Ghost Gallery’s web page, where they regularly call for mini-art, large format work, greeting cards, and other pieces.

In Ghost Gallery you’ll discover all kinds of vintage decor and jewelry pieces from local artisans like Orange Box Jewelry, Nikki Jacoby, Peace and the Poet, and many more. Decorate your home and accessorize yourself with their unique art, earrings, necklaces, lockets and furniture to become the envy of Seattle’s art and fashion elite.
